Cruise Itinerary

Bora Bora Cruises – Private Yacht Experience

7 days/6 nights departing Bora Bora every Monday morning, returning to Bora Bora Sunday afternoons.

Monday – Lagoon Hues, Bora Bora
This morning we welcome guests at Bora Bora airport on the ‘Motu Mute’ – small islet on the coral reef fringe that frames Bora Bora’s principle island. Today is the day to settle in, relax and discover your private yacht which will be home for the next week. Visit the small village of Vaitape, head for the beach or schedule an onboard anti-stress massage. Finish the day with a leisurely sunset cruise eased along with local music from the onboard ‘Kuru’ (crew).

Tuesday – Vanilla Scents, Taha’a
An early morning arrival at this stunning smaller island that shares an enormous lagoon with sister island Raiatea. Help prepare and enjoy a traditional island feast, take lessons in life in the tropics and make the most of the sun, snorkeling, kayaks, and swimming in pristine lagoons. We’ll complete the day with a cruise around this island’s lagoons past postcard perfect motus, and after dinner we’ll slip across the lagoon to Raiatea.

Wednesday – River and Motu, Raiatea
Start the day with a visit to the marae (temple) that is central to the ancient Polynesian civilization that was starting place for the great migration that peopled lands as far away as Hawai’i, Easter Island and New Zealand. A late morning kayak up the idyllic Faaroa River, French Polynesia’s only navigable river, a botanical garden visit, and an afternoon of beach and lagoon life at Iriru motu. Following a barbeque under the stars, we’ll invite you to the ‘motu movies’, a unique open air cinema experience that not even Hollywood could have imagined. Many guests like to finish the evening with a spot of late-night fishing, where the aft underwater projectors make the landing of the next day’s breakfast a rather spectacular affair.

Thursday – Tropical Beauty, Huahine
After an early morning crossing from Raiatea, the scene is set for an exclusive event – our lagoon breakfast. Fine linen, tepid crystalline waters, and a full array of breakfast temptations, complemented with a crisp cool flute of champagne. The rest of the morning is yours to laze at a stunning beach, or to explore the surrounding tropical landscape. The afternoon sees us visit the tiny port village of Fare, and we follow with an evening presentation of traditional music performed by a very special choir.

Friday - Island Flavors, Raiatea
An early morning return crossing from Huahine sees us at quay in ‘downtown’ Uturoa – the Leeward Islands’ largest township and administrative center. Mid-morning we visit a working Tahitian black pearl farm where these tropical treasures are farmed and harvested in preparation for setting in sublime jewelry. An early afternoon cruise and time for a swim from the Yacht’s aft ‘beach’, is followed by a trek up Mount Tapioi which offers up a myriad of island views at sunset whilst we treat you for your efforts with a cool Maitai cocktail. It’s Friday night, an after dinner Tahitian dance group entertains, and for those wanting a little late night fun, we’d be happy to accompany you to small local nightclub for a little entertainment and dancing.

Saturday – Pacific Pearl, Bora Bora
The weekend begins as we return early to the multiple turquoise hues of Bora Bora’s lagoon. Today is the day to experience one or more of Bora Bora’s wonderful excursions that we offer as options, or to just return to laze at the beach. A black pearl jewelry presentation precedes our Saturday night on board, a time to celebrate the week’s discovery and enjoy another dinner with new friends.

Sunday – Island Sunday, Bora Bora
This morning we offer an opportunity to visit a local church, with roof-lifting hymns and a local attendance resplendent in its island Sunday best. For those wanting a special piece of Tahitian black pearl jewelry, the world’s leading producers, Robert Wan Pearls welcome our guests for an exclusive viewing. There’s also a occasion for another swim in Bora Bora’s clear lagoon waters before it is time to bid your Cruise Yacht farewell and return to Bora Bora airport.

Cruise Yacht Dining At Your Service
Every morning we offer early coffee, pastry and fruits for early risers, followed by a full a la carte breakfast service. Those sleeping late are well catered for as our continental breakfast is available almost until lunchtime. Our leisurely lunch a la carte offering is served from noon, and is followed mid-afternoon tea and refreshments. Each evening our talented chefs prepare a sumptuous selection of a la carte gourmet treats heightened with local flavors. A well-stocked and ably staffed bar offers deck and lounge seating, is open most of the day and night, and supplemented by our sun deck bar.

Optional Excursions
Bora Bora Cruises unique experiences as included above are supplemented by an especially selected and recommended range of optional excursions. These include the ubiquitous shark feeding and ray encounter; island tours, four-wheel drive safaris; outrigger canoe tours; bicycle rides; champagne picnics; on board massages and beauty treatments; wave-runner excursions; game-fishing; and, of course, scuba diving.
